i looked all over for a foam mat for my son, as he is very active, and very messy!! all the ones i saw were puzzles, which meant they had some little pieces the baby can pull out and potentially choke on. THIS mat is just comprised of giant 2feetx2feet squares, making it much safer for my little one. and as far as quality, durability, and ease of use are concerned, it’s GREAT!! very thick, thicker than most others out there, and simple to put together and take apart the pieces if you want to move them. and the bright but simple colors fit in any kids space. definitely recommend.
Customer Review: The best mat I have ever seen!
Like many parents with a baby I alphabet foam mats to 1) protect my son from falls 2) minimize noise for our downstairs neighbors (when my son drops wooden toys on the floor) and 3) to protect our wood floors. The alphabet mats provide reasonable protection, though even the best ones aren’t quality products. This mat however is excellent; it is extremely high quality, is soft enough to provide protection and a sound barrier for our downstairs neighbor, and because the tiles are so large my (now 13 month old son) can’t just rip them apart from each other and chew on them (as he did with every that came before these ones). Plus, if you are looking for a mat to exercise on this one is very comfy. I couldn’t be happier with this product. Note that the shipping costs are very high, but at least you will receive a high quality product when it arrives.
