Named Uncle Ezra it is still active today with participation by students, faculty and alumni. As the Internet spread the need for this type service became apparent as an online service to the ever expanding audience and has since flourished. E-therapy (as online counseling is often called) is an excellent avenue for people to access mental health services. The inconvenience of scheduling appointments with a brick and mortar therapist affects many people who are frequent travelers, have distant residences, possibly too depressed to leave the house or simply are too bashful for a face-to-face session.
