AAI Foam Bonded Carpet- Cheerleading/ Gymnastics Mat The foam backed carpet is 1-3/8″ (35 mm) cross-linked polyethylene foam bonded to a low pile plush blue carpet. It is designed for use as a tumbling or floor exercise surface. Each roll is 6′ (1830 mm) wide and 42′ (12.8 m) long. CONSTRUCTION: Foam: The foam shall be cross-linked polyethylene with a density of 2.0 lb/ft3 (32 kg/m3) and tensile strength of 34.7 psi. Carpet: The carpet is a low pile plush blue carpet with a total weight of 22 oz per square yard. The carpet fiber is 100% polyester and the thickness is ” (5 mm).
